I have to say honestly, I'm getting a lil tired of the waiting. =(
Well, moving on, I was a student helper for the Taylor's February Orientation and it was quite an experience. There were some good moments and quite a lot of bad moments. I noticed that a lot of the students were overbearing, spoiled and obnoxious. There were some really nice ones though. Some students came all the way from Penang and I had the opportunity to take them for a tour around the campus. Actually I was ready to go home, walking out the hall when these people asked for a tour around campus. I looked around and could not see any available helpers so I thought, what the heck, let's go! =) Really nice people, though only one girl was communicating with me while the other two were shy.
Watched Burlesque with eldest sister. I have to say, the danced were so interesting, I couldn't help but feel like dancing along.
GTG...
Will be back! Soon,very soon!

Bavarian Bierhaus...
Had my valentine's dinner yesterday at The Curve in Bavarian Bierhaus. I call it the thirsty beer. Bier Haus. =) I have to say the food there is excellent! I never really had the experience of which I have read in story books where the food melts in your mouth, the tenderness of the meat, the juicy flavor of the meat.
I experienced it yesterday at the Bavarian Bierhaus. We ordered the Hamburg platter which had 2 long but skinny sausages, 2 slabs of tender juicy meat, some mashed potato dumplings and a side of red cabbage. The meal cost RM52 but it was worth it. The portion was quite big and as it was all meat, twas it was a hearty meal.
And greedy me thought it wasn't enough I had to go and order a side dish of Nachos deluxe with cheese, a sprinkling of raw onions and tomatoes. The nachos was really good as it was thick and crunchy unlike the nachos from Chili's which I have to say that it tasted like it came out from a store-bought bag. The nachos from Bavarian Bierhaus is to die for. The sausage was a tad salty but it went well with the potato dumplings which I found a bit odd as it was rolled into little balls and I found it a bit too starchy. Overall, the experience in Bavarian Bierhaus was great. Food was delicious. Really really delicious.
Well, hope I had you salivating over your keyboard coz it was well worth it! =)
Adios muchachos!!!!!!!!!!

Running Streak...
I have been on a hard core exercise regime nowadays. Well, actually short of being a sports fanatic. Went for futsal on Sunday, badminton and swimming all in a week. Got a bruise on the shoulder during futsal. I call em' my battle scars. The main reason I love sports is... actually unknown. Among all my sisters, I'm the only one who is crazy about sports. Started off with squash when I was quite young. Moved on to other sports. Maybe it's the adrenaline rush, the sprinting and running around. The excitement that gets your heart pumping, the sweat, the heat and the feeling of happiness that I get when I exercise.
What worries me now is that once I start uni, I have to cut down a lot on the exercising. Need to focus more on studies. According to wikipedia, the sudden stop of excessive exercising can lead to agitation, depression and God knows what. =(
Oh, good news, made Tiramisu from scratch. You know, *scratch scratch* and *poof* tiramisu appears. =) It turned out alright if not a little bit to alcoholic. The recipe needed 300ml of warm strong coffee but I used 3 (kinda large soup bowls) bowls of coffee with large doses of Kahlua. =p
Well, I improvised a little too much. Had this bottle of Kahlua sitting in our kitchen cabinet for far too long a time, so I just kinda added it into the tiramisu, it would have turned out fabulous if I had not added a tad too much. Besides that,I forgot that I had brought up my coffee to PJ and as I was making the tiramisu I panicked a little as I had no coffee,so it resulted in me using one of those instant coffee, you know, those 3-in-1 coffee packets.
I was a little afraid of making the tiramisu as it involves the use of egg whites and beating it to stiff peaks, honestly, I was afraid as I had quite a bad experience with egg whites. There was this one time I wanted to make meringues and I had use my electric mixer but something went wrong and the egg whites turned what-my-sister-calls a similar looking vomit that of Hershey's(my dog). *shivers*
I have to say, this time, I hand whipped my egg whites. I gave them a whooping of their lives. =)
Used a fork and later moved on to a plastic balloon whisk. And thanks to the efforts of my 2 younger sisters, it turned out exactly as it should be! Hallelujah!
Will soon attempt to make meringues again, and maybe macaroons. Maybe, just maybe. =D

King of Anything.
Thanks to my sister, I am now super adicted to this song. Very meaningful lyrics in which is the perfect way of dissing someone without saying the F-word. =) Sara Bareilles, talented.
Will update more later.

Welcome to Mars.
Mars No.1
Mars No.2
Want to make me happy? Just buy me a bar of chocolate. =)
Ain't I so easy to please?
Have been listening to Bruno Mars' songs. I have to say most of his songs are delicious, as delicious as the chocolate bar. I am especially addicted to 'I think I wanna marry you'. Catchy and very addictive. Not only that, try searching for the Glee version. Ear blowing.
Started to torture the tips of my fingers again. Using my dad's guitar as a substitute as my classical one is back in PJ. One the chords that I have not learn to play properly is F#minor. Ouch.
Time to boost my musical interest. Have not been practicing the piano or the guitar for quite some time already. Oh lazy me.
This is what I look like without my handy and trusted pair of spectacles.
Funny thing about my eyes, they have their mind of their own. On some days, I have double eyelids on both eyes and like that day in the picture, one is with and one is without double eyelids. Someone asked whether I would go for surgery and I said no. Well, imperfection is the only perfect thing I do know that makes up an individual. We do not want to look like each other do we? =)

Ang Pau aka Little Red Packets.
Well, this year there seemed to be an increase in red packets thanks to the house visiting which I have never done before in my whole 20 years. Usually we celebrate CNY with a gathering of relatives and receive ang paus from aunts and uncles. This year, I had celebrated it with a little extra oomph by going to friends houses and receiving extra ang paus.
As usual, there definitely will be an increase in weight as well (not including Chrissie), from all the eating and drinking.
Watched The Green Hornet the other day with the KL Cell people. Company was good, movie sucked. The entire movie was so predictable until the last bit. Not really hillarious as I would've expected but I have to say there is an improvement in Jay Chou's acting chops. Unlike his other movies with his sullen demeanor and stone face, this time it looked like he put in some effort to move that thick face of his. (No offence to Jay's fans).
Watched the Social Network and I have to give it two thumbs up. Brilliantly excecuted and stunning performance by Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield. These two, well Andrew played his character with emotion a plenty while Jesse was perfect as the role of Mark Zuck-a-something aka founder of The Facebook or now known as Facebook. I really salute the producers and script writer as to how they managed to turn something as a law suit and the story of a computer geek into such an anticipating and thrilling movie is enough to blow my mind.
I need to change. My lifestyle. Gah.

Tis the festive season to grow, in size.
Well, the time has come to let loose the belts and start gorging on food and those little red packets that bring much joy to those who receive them.(feel kinda sorry for those who are married, only during this festive season).
So far, I have been quite diligent and discipline in trying to not gorge myself silly.
Ahh, I remember the days when I was much younger and I didn't care much about weight and size and looks.I have to say this has changed. I now have to watch what I eat much to my fear of having a big belly like Santa Clause. Mr.Owen is right beside me peering into this laptop as my fingers run thorugh the keys. He is laughing for no apparent reason. He seems to find it amusing that his name is on this laptop screen. Mr.Owen is 8 years old and wear specs, with much gusto and strength in his arms. =) (Mr.Owen does not want to be called Mr.Owen, he says he just wants to be known as Owen only!)
That's all. I seem to be writing nonsense for the moment. Will soon update more. Hopefully.

The Big Bang Theory.
Thanks to this hilarious series, I have to say, I have learned many new words. My favorite character would be Sheldon Cooper.
The actor Jim Parsons portrays his character flawlessly.
Am beginning to think that nerds and geeks are the in-thing now.
That's all. Just some random post to wait for my nails to dry. =p
