I do not know why but for some really weird random reason, I find myself smiling when ever I see people use or say this phrase, kthnxbai which is ok-thanks-bye. I find it cute.It gives me the impression that the person using this said something wrong(in a cute way) and is trying to get out of the conversation as soon as possible.
