Padi House.

Pip's cousin's baby just reached one month and had celebrated it in a restaurant. Food wasn't too bad but the dessert left me speechless. There were around 200+ of these little cupcakes, all with different sugar dolls and toys. These beauties were specially ordered from somewhere. Managed to snatch one from the stack.

Too pretty to be eaten but, oh well, food IS food.

Beneath the coating of sugar was filled with coffee cream which then led to the chocolate cupcake.

Quite delicious for a cupcake. =)

My sister had recommended Padi House and it had took me quite some time to finally plant my hungry stomach into the restaurant. Pip took me there for brunch. When I say brunch, it basically means that I had not had my breakfast and am starving. As I entered the venue, the mouth-watering aromas drifted past my nose and quickly planted myself sturdily on the nearest empty seat.

First we ordered the Grilled chicken with Cafe De Paris. Do not ask me what Cafe De Paris means as I do not have the slightest idea.

As I have said, I was hungry and I dug into the food before I remembered to take a picture. Not much was eaten, as I was stopped by Pip before devouring the whole plate.

I was expecting a bigger portion but was led down. The piece of chicken was slightly larger than my hand. Sauce was made from mushroom and onions. Nothing much to shout about. For the price of RM14.90 this dish was not what I had anticipated.

Next on the menu is the Pasta De Pesto with Grilled Chicken.

Pasta De Pesto with Grilled Chicken

Overall this dish was somewhat bearable. Chicken a tad dry, pasta a little under seasoned. Quite a disappointment for dish that cost RM13.90. But I prefer this dish over the grilled chicken.

The only thing that redeemed Padi House from losing a customer is the coffee.

This Italy imported coffee has well exceeded my expectations of a good ol cup of coffee.I ordered the Toasted Hazelnut Cappucinno.

Toasted Hazelnut Cappucinno

For the price of RM7.90, it was one of the well spent money I had for quite some time. Aromatic with the slightly bitter aftertaste one gets from good coffee, with a hint of nutty hazelnut was perfect. My palette definitely approves of this coffee!

Will definitely go back for the coffee!
